Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Govt. City College (A) was established in 2004 to ensure post accreditation quality enhancement and sustenance in the institution. Since its inception the cell is striving hard towards realization of goals with the objective of improving academic and administrative performance of the institution.
The College was accredited in 2004 with A Grade with CGPA 3.01 in the first cycle, sustained A Grade with a better CGPA of 3.26 in the second cycle in 2012 and was accredited with B++ (CGPA 2.76) in the Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF) during third cycle in 2019. Now the college is preparing for its fourth cycle of accreditation process.

Disseminates the information on quality parameters of higher education among teaching and non-teaching staff
Organizes timely orientation programmes/seminars/workshops for faculty
Guide and motivate faculty to organize programmes/activities on academics/ research/innovation/entrepreneurship
Documents the academic and administrative activities for preparing Annual Quality Assessment Reports and Self Study Report
