The Department of Microbiology was established in the year 1998 with Biochemistry and Chemistry as combinational subjects. Now it is offered with other subjects like Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Psychology, Zoology. The Department has a well established lab with all the basic equipment and a departmental library with more than 150 books.
