Brief History of the Department:

 Economics is one of the oldest Departments as a part of BA Course, in combination with other subjects. The department exists since the inception of the college i.e. 16-8-1965. In the beginning traditional courses only were offered but later the discipline is provided in combination with variety of subjects like Computer Science, Sociology, Geography, Psychology, in MOOCS.
