Government Degree College, Manuguru a constituent college of the Kakatiya University, Warangal Established in 2008 as per G.O.Ms. No.31 of Finance (SMPC) Department of Andhra Pradesh Dated: 15-02-2010 and Subsequent Proceedings Rc.No.402/Admn. I-2/2008 of the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Hyderabad dated: 25-02-2010. Since its inception, Government Degree College, Manuguru has offering basic UG courses mentioned below.

Located in a remote tribal region, heart city of Singareni coal mines the college infrastructure and facilities are continuously being renovated and new facilities built. The college has a well-qualified and dynamic faculty that regularly upgrades itself to enrich teaching, research and outreach processes. The college has established international linkages that have led to cross-border faculty and student interactions built multicultural perspectives and enriched teaching- learning processes attuned to the globalized world. The SCCL (Singareni Collieries Company Limited), Manuguru continuously beside with the college by granting funds for the Construction of the college buildings and infrastructure facilities through SHAPE grants as corporate social responsibility.
