        History of The Department:

         Government Degree college, Patancheru was started in the year 2008 with B.A, B.Com, B.Sc. life sciences(BZC) and B.Sc. Physical Sciences course were introduced in the year 2008 with combination of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (MPC) and Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science (MPCs) course started in the academic year 2017-18.

        Department has one laboratory, in addition to this, department maintain library. The department was well established and have well equipped with instruments like 5mW power Laser, Spectrometer, Travelling Microscope, Transistor, Zener diode, network Theorems, Electric kettle, Lee’s disc apparatus etc. In every Year, 30 students admit in MPC,55 students in MPCs groups.


      The department has following laboratory Experiments to fullfill our moto "Learning by Doing"
