To Emphasize on imparting employability skills, research aptitude through organization of conferences, symposia, workshops.

To enhance the learning abilities of the graduates in the key areas like Bioinformatics, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Bioprocessing, Upstream and Downstream Processing, Gene Therapy.

Biotechnology Department was established in the year 2008 with the CBCS system affiliated to Osmania University

Faculty of the department are actively involved in the revising the curriculum regularly

Department is upgraded with new equipment

Students are given industry based internship programmes

Department regularly conduction Extension and Guest Lectures for updating the knowledge of the students
