      Department of Economics as part of B.A combination has been started in the year 1997 along with Psychology and Marketing Management as restructured course. This is unique combination in the state, GDC Gajwel, was second college to have this market oriented combination i.e. B.A (E.P.MM).

                  Economics as a subject has also been started as part of combination along with Political Science and Public Administration in the academic year 2003-04. Since the inception of the college, the combination which has Economics as a subject has been in demand in this college. The recent trend is students of this combination are getting admissions in post-graduation courses with top ranks.
