        ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

       

      Government DegreeCollege,Sadasivpet(SangareddyDistrict)Telanganawas establishedintheyear1984witheffortsoftheMLASriP.RamachandraReddy.

      Thevision of  the  college  is  reflected  in  the  mission  statements, which focuses on activities and future plans which ultimately lead to over all development of the students. The teachers prepare departmental action plans curricular plans and extracurricular plans in which the vision of the college is reflected.

      The Department of Physics was established in the academic year 2009-10 in the  college  with  two  Bask  courses  of combination  Mathematics,  Physics & Chemistry(MPC).

      In the Academic year 2016-2017 the renewed courses of combination Mathematics, Physics & Computer science (MPCS).

      The Department follows the Osmania University Academic Calender as well as CommissionarateofCollegiateEducationAcademicCalender.TheB.Sc,MPC/MPCS  Course offeredintheCBCSPattern.TheDepartmentfollowsOsmaniaUniversitysyllabus.Thesame suppliedtothestudentsatstartingoftheacademicyear.Studymaterialisprovidedtoall studentsforgettinggoodmarksinsemesterexams.

      The Department follows the Osmania university syllabus.syllabi was revised by the universityasperUGCmodelcurriculum,soastoenablethestudentstoattendtheuniversity entranceexaminationslikeM.Sc.,andB.Ed.,specialcarehasbeentakentogiveintensive coachingtoinspireandmotivatethestudentstoappeartheabovesaidexaminations
