      Department of commerce is working since the inception of the college. It was started in 1981 with Telugu as medium of instruction. The department is offering two UG programs viz B.Com(General) and B.Com (Computer Applications). B.Com (Computer Applications) is a self financed restructured course which was started in the year 1999.

       

      VISION

      To empower the graduates to be technologically adept, innovative, self-motivated and responsible citizens, possessing human values and contribute significantly towards being a center of excellence in providing globally standard education, through a conducive Teaching and Research environment, that responds swiftly to the challenges of the ever changing world.

       

       MISSION

      • To achieve academic excellence by imparting in-depth knowledge to the students through effective pedagogies and hands on experience on latest tools and technologies
      •   Equipping students to face the realities of life.

                           encourage  computer students to active participation in Skill  development  programs

      Ø  Wider usage of ICT based Teaching Learning practices.

      Ø  Surveys and study projects.

      Ø  Extension and outreach programs like Swatch and Shrest Environment campaigning.
