    •  ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

      The department of Chemistry was established in the year 2009. It is committed to provide the best of the chemical education to the students across the Sangareddy district. Sangareddy is well known as hub of industries. Many Chemical and Pharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturing units of international standards are established in the surrounding villages.

      The department has adequate infrastructure to train the undergraduate students. Two undergraduate programmes are offered in Chemistry in combination with Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science with a sanctioned strength of 60.Choice Based Credit System was introduced in the academic year 2018 – 19. The department follows the syllabus offered by Osmania University.

      Overall development of girl students of sangareddy  through chemical education and tranform them into responsible individuals.

      MISSION : 
      To encourage the Students to understand the role of Chemistry in life and to pursue higher education to progress in the field of Chemistry.
