The Dept. of Urdu was established in the college in 2006 with B.A. Urdu medium group.
The aim of establishment of the Urdu Dept. is to promote Urdu language and Urdu culture in the Society by imparting Urdu as a Second language to the students. Sangareddy is a well known area of Urdu speaking people with 40% approximately of the people speak in Urdu. The state Govt. has declared Urdu as a second language of 22 national languages. Urdu is a prominent Indian language which helps in promoting national Integration around the world.
