In the year 1983, the college established the Department of Economics with B.A course at UG level. Keeping in view the modern trends in Economics, Students are much interested in Economics subject. The department of Economics has been providing excellent Learning platform for B.A students to shine forth. The Economics department has 1 sanctioned post. He has joined as Lecturer in Economics at this college during 2016. He passed M.A. Economics from Osmania University of Hyderabad during the year 2001,He passed SET, His area of specialization International trade. . He has got years of teaching experience at Degree College.
