    • HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

      Telugu Language known to exist since the time period 400 BC .Telugu language is  one of the six classical languages of India (others being Sanskrit, Tamil and Kannada, Malayalam, Odia) and the second most spoken language in India. In 2012 Telugu has been voted as the 2nd best script in the world by International Alphabet Association, Korean ranks No.1. The  Telugu language is also called as "Italian of the East". The  mother tongue of majority students is TELUGU , in spite of that ,they are  facing difficulty in effective communication. There are number of opportunities for Telugu language students in present situation. Our main objective is to make the students perfect in the Telugu grammar ( sandhulu, samaasalu, chandassu.and alankaralu)and Poetry so that they can easily get the control over the language and communicate their ideas in a good  traditional language.
