The department of commerce made a humble beginning in the year 1965 to meet the diversified needs of the industry. B.Com. (Computer Applications) was introduced in the academic year 2001-02.

The essential knowledge of financial, Cost and Management Accounting principles, Tax, audit procedures and their applications in different business situations.
To acquaint students with information technology and practical accounting knowledge.
To provide a channel of knowledge to meet the challenges in changing business environment.
