      Vision

      The department of commerce made a humble beginning in the year 1965 to meet the diversified needs of the industry. B.Com. (Computer Applications) was introduced in the academic year 2001-02.

      “From the class room to spheres of the world and transformation of the student to a dedicated professional, a successful entrepreneur a dynamic business leader and a motivated researcher working towards the growth of the Nation.”

      Objectives

      • The department aims at academic excellence by recognizing the potential in students and providing:
      • The essential knowledge of financial, Cost and Management Accounting principles, Tax, audit procedures and their applications in different business situations.
      •  To acquaint students with information technology and practical accounting knowledge.
      • To provide a channel of knowledge to meet the challenges in changing business environment.
