ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Thecommercedepartmentofthiscollegewasestablishedintheyear1981-82withtheinitiationofcertainstaffmembersofthedepartmentofcommerce of SRR Govt. Degree College, Karimnagar Sri A. Ailaiah and Sri. K.Rajamouli As they rendered free service for one complete academic year later on acommerce department was established with a sanction of Three (3) permanentlecturer posts. The intake of the B.Com. I year Telugu Medium class was of 60students. The following Staff members were posted the departmental results areremarkably high compared to University results. The Department regularly conductsDistrictlevelworkshops.SeminarsinadditiontoitsregularClassteaching.AsacontinuouslearningprocessthestudentsareinvolvedinseveralactivitiesofthedepartmentlikestudentSeminars,subjectassignments,Groupdiscussionsandquiz

e.t.c.ApartfromregularteachingtheDepartment undertakes the Project work, Fieldtrips.Industrialvisitsetc.

In the year 1990 the Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced restructuredcoursesatdegreelevel.UndertheSchemeB.Com.(E/M),B.Com.(ComputerApplications)and B.Com (Tax and procedure) with an intake of 30 students ineach.
