    • The Department of English was established in the year 1974. Since its inception, it has been catering to teaching English by creating interest and  enthusiasm  among the students through language and literature. The aim of the department is to strengthen the communication skills of the students and to make them available for the employment market. Its objective is to instill confidence among the students by making them globally competent.

      The Department has 5 regular faculty with an average of 20 years of experience. Teaching is done taking into consideration the comprehension capabilities of the individual student. Students are encouraged to express themselves in the class to enhance their confidence.

      TSKC, a prestigious project of CCE, also functions under the department and it invites various agencies to train the students in various aspects of employability skills.

      Objectives:

      To develop the LSRW Skills.

      To enhance communication skills and people skills.

      To help the students face the global competition by improving their employability skills.

      To explore the world in general and society in particular.

       

      Shaik UmerFaruq Quadri of B.A (ML,Pol.Sc,MassCom),2015-18 is pursuing M.A English in MANUU
