The Department of Public Administration was established in the year 1974.The Department is offering Public Administration in EPP, HPP and HEPA courses. The courses are designed keeping in view the latest developments in the discipline to prepare the students for competitive exams, as well as requirements of private sector. The department has qualified and committed faculty with rich teaching and research experience. The Department has organised  several lectures by inviting experts from different fields on a number of emerging issues.

Aims

Pursuit of Excellence in Public administration so as to serve each and every segment in the community and prepare the students to assume myriad responsibilities in Academics, Public service, Non-Governmental Organsiations , Private sector as well as International organisations.

OBJECTIVES

1. Expanding the horizons of students on theories and concepts in Public Administration.
2. To bring an interface between academics and practitioners of administration

so as to enable the students to grasp the issues involved in practical

governance.

3. To inculcate ethical values among students and train them to follow

the professional ethics scrupulously.

4.To  enable the students to understand the functioning of  Central,State and Local Governments.

5.To make the students understand the contemporary issues in Public Administration.

1.I Prize in Jignasa Study Project- A state level competition

K.Parshuram, B.A. III year, B. Pradeep, T.Swamy,Kartik, M.Dinesh, Nithish Kumar B.A. II YEAR participated in Jignasa State Level study project. competitions on “Palle Samagra Seva Kendralu”. They got First prize and received 30,000 cash prize from Commissioner Of Collegiate Education,Sri Naveen Mittal IAS.

2.Swamy , B.A. II year participated in Yuvatharangam State Level competitions conducted  by CCE. He secured I Prize in Group  singing competition.

3.Pradeep , B.A. II year student participated in Yuvatharangam Cluster Level Quiz competition organized by CCE got III prize.

4.K.Parasuramudu , Got Selected for M.A. Public Administration in Osmania University
