      The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1971 with the B.COM (GENERAL) in both medium i.e. English and Telugu. Now the department is expanded to Business Administration with the introduction of BBA in the year 2019 and PG program. M.COM in the year 2020.

      We have grown over the years and currently department is offering FOUR (UG PROGRAMMES)-B.COM (CA), B.COM (TAX & PROCEDURES), B.COM (BUSINESS ANLYTICS) and B.B.A and ONE (PG PROGRAMME) – M.COM with average strength of 1296 and 37 respectively. The department has 12 staff members with highly qualified, dedication, commitment, and friendly faculty.

      Students are encouraged through BEST PRACTICES (Commerce Exhibition, Commerce Talent Exam, Commerce Club, and Commerce Fest. Commerce Day)

      At the undergraduate level itself the students are initiated into taking up Certificate Courses and Project Works. Case study method, role - play, student presentations, different Student Centric methods are used to encouraging student participation and making the class room session lively and inter –active.

      Along with the regular classes, course activities, various intra – class, inter-class and inter – collegiate activities enable the students to improve their skills. The department regularly organizes workshops and seminars to help students to update their knowledge regarding the latest developments in the field of Commerce and Business Administration.

      As a part of experiential learning field trips are organized and students learn by observation and get a practical exposure of Industrial challenges. Through Internships students have the opportunity to develop and apply skills, theories and concepts learned in the classroom. They can gain exposure to their chosen field. Participating in Internship can be a great way to taste the actual Professional experience in a particular field.

      The curriculum is framed under the guidance of BOARD OF STUDIES in such a manner which help the students to grow and develop in a Holistic manner.
