      Year of establishment: The Department of SANSKRIT was established in the year 1971.

      Vision

      Motivating the students to inculcate values through the study of Sanskrit literature.

      Mission

      To impart knowledge which encourages insight development to face the society with better understanding.

      Objectives

      To acquaint students with universal truths and traditions enshrined in the literary works. To develop a sense of literary aesthetic appreciation among students by forming their acquaintance with varied aspects of Sanskrit Language. To develop the reading and writing Devanagari Script. To develop interest in writing essays in simple Sanskrit.
