      Our Department Collaborated with Dr. K. SRINIVAS, assistant professor of Commerce at Osmania University and organized an extended lecture on “Marginal Accounting and Decision Making”


      Details of activities conducted for students for Future employment/ Competitive Examinations & Higher Education (P.G., B.Ed. Entrance examinations, etc.)

         1.  There are about 250 students taken coaching for General Studies and Commerce subject

         2.  Material provided to students for PG Entrance Examination

       

      Library Facility of department: Present, 20 books provided

       

      Outreach Programmes

      For the academic year 2020-21, The Department has not taken up any Outreach Programmes due to Pandemic Covid-19. Programmes shall be conducted next academic year

       

      Department Innovative/ Best Practices

         (i). Our department faculty members will be always in touch with different publications and arrange all required books for the poor and needy people with free of cost.   

         (ii). The staff members of department of commerce have taken separate consent forms of each students and parents to attend the college as the college have taken all necessary COVID-19 possible measures.

         (iii). The B.Com students have participated in Silver Jubilee Celebrations Cultural Program organized by “DRUVA COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT” and our students have participated actively in all the program’s conducted by the institute.

         (iv). All the faculty members have created awareness in students regarding the threat of smoking by “No Smoking Program” and displayed “No Smoking” boards in various places of college campus.

       

      Details of the Significant Achievements of the Department

         1. Our Department of Commerce have conducted a Webinar on “Marginal Costing and Decision Making”

         2. In Yuvatarangam our student Akella Ravikumar got state award

         3. The very talented student of “Mr. Mohammed Touheed Khan” have applied for “MS in Business Analytics” from American University and successfully completed his admission process.

         4. Health Care initiatives taken by the department for the welfare of the students
