  • Industrial Chemistry
    •                          The department of industrial chemistry was started during the academic year 1998-1999 under the initiationof the principal Sri. T. Narayana Swamy. Industrial chemistry, a vocational subject was started with the assistance of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. UGC has released an amount of Rs. 9 lakhs towards the establishment and for the construction of new laboratory. Since Nalgonda happened to be abackward district in Telangana region, we thought to introduce this course to cater the needs of the people. The department was headed by Sri. N. Krishna Prasad as the course coordinator since inception. The local Sri Ramananda Thirdha Institute of Technology and Science was extending help in teaching, because the chemical technology course is offering by that Institute. Teaching and non-teaching staff of Department of Chemistryhas been extending the cooperation in conducting the theory and practical classes.

                So far the department has been headed bySri. N. Krishna Prasad during 1998-2006, Dr. N. Vijay Bhaskar Rao during 2006-2010, Dr. R. Ashok Reddy during 2010-2011, Dr. A.Bhanu Prasad during 2011-2012, Sri D. Govardhan during 2012-2013, Sri P. Yedukondalu during 2013-2015, Dr. K. Venkata Krishna during 2015-2018, from July 2018 on words Sri V. Srinivasulu has been holding the incharge of this department.
