Nagarjuna Government College (Autonomous), Nalgonda
Nagarjuna Govt.Degree College was established in the year 1956 as a first Govt.Degree College in Nalgonda with Science& Arts Departments.TheDepartment of Botany has been functioning from july, 1956 with combination of B.P.S. Thesanctioned strength was 27. From 1959 -60 academic year B.Z.G was started with 7 students and B.Z.C with 9 students.
Since then the Department of Botany has been running successfully and brought to the status of intake of students to 367.The department has excellent infrastructure with huge laboratories , Museum & Botanical garden.
