Nagarjuna Government College (Autonomous), Nalgonda

The Department of Political Science has been in existence in the college ever since its inception in 1956 and has been playing a magnificent role in the educational activity in the region. It is a matter of pride to state that a well acknowledged monumental educational, none other than Prof G Ram Reddy who worked as the VC of both Osmania University and Indira Gandhi Open University, and also as the Chairman of the UGC was a faculty member of this department in the early years of his career. The department has 4 sanctioned posts with a weekly work load of 88 hours.

After the N.G.College turned in to Autonomous in 2007 - 08. The Department of political science designed syllabus taking the changing needs of the day and students into consideration. The members of the department have voluminous experience to their credit imparting quality education to students. They keep themselves updated about the changing aspects of political science at the regional, National and International levels.
