TELANGANA SKILL KNOWLEDGE CENTER
(TSKC)
Telangana Skill knowledge Center earlier it was called as “Jawahar Knowledge Centre”. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh initiated JKC in 2005 as a reliable solution to the problem of unemployment faced by students studying non-professional courses in Degree colleges of AP. The ever increasing prominence of India on the global map has paved way for a growing demand for hard working and talented students good in computer skills, communication skills and industry related skills. The doors of global job market are opened to students who can speak fluently, compute quickly, write legibly and analyse logically.
Telangana Skill knowledge Center’s primary aim is to provide intensive training to students in employable skills and enable students avail themselves of the bright opportunities in the global job market. Remarkably, the centers are best utilized by the poorest of the poor and marginalized sections of the society. Students from rural areas who have no access to advantages experienced by their urban counterparts are provided the latest technologies and opportunities to upgrade their skills and encouraged to compete for better standards of living. The centre received overwhelming response from day one and the encouraging placements add to its strength and objectives.
Telangana Skill knowledge Center was established in our college in the academic year 2007-08. It provides necessary training in technical, analytical, communication and soft skills needed for career growth and development of the students. A number of campus recruitment drives have been conducted every year. The centre is working hard to create ample opportunities for placements of the outgoing students by arranging campus interviews. The team of mentors in the centre put in all their efforts and skills in offering expert guidance and support to students. They are trained in various skills required in the job market. A number of mock interviews, seminars, workshops and extension lectures are organized in the college campus by eminent academicians, scholars, consultants, industrialists and professionals from diverse fields. Our college JKC is always ahead in promoting awareness programs on emerging trends and technologies. Many students got selected and placed in various companies, Banks and Laboratories national wide with the altruistic efforts of the centre.
