"Playing games or Sports have a huge impact on the holistic development of Students. Either be indoor games or outdoor games, both have significant outcomes on the mind of the young".The games and sport activities that you play today have a strong linkage to our culture. Sport activities which dominate any region is embedded in the cultural milieu. Some of the sports that reflect the culture of a region of our country are Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Archery, Lezim, Wrestling and so on. Our ancestors survived on hunting with the use of throwing stones as well as bow and arrows, running, jumping etc. were used for survival and recreation. Later when man became more civilised, it took the shape of competitive sports like athletics, wrestling, archery and so on. So, we can see a strong bonding of our culture in the present evolution of games and sports.

   Games and sports make us healthy and fit for work. Games and sports are very necessary in our life. Games and sports make us fit, active, fresh and social. They teach us a lesson of cooreratin duty and dicipline. They teach us a lesson of brotherhood and natioal unity. Games and sports have much value in development of body is as important as that of a mind. A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body. Games keep the body fit and active. Games and sports make the students active and fresh. It also teaches students the Value of discipline,Improvesacademic performance,Develops fitness habits,Provides mental and emotional benefits,Builds specific skills and Maintains a positive spirit.

  Our college students participted in Sports & Games in College level and after carefull scruting at college level we selected teams in various sports including Kabaddi,Kho-kho,Volley ball and Athletics to participate 55 members in Cluster level in M.V.S Govt Degree College Mahabubnagar in 2018-2019 academic year. For 2019-2020 academic year our students participated Cluster level 105 members in M.V.S Govt Degree College Mahabubnagar and  One student selected State level athletics in 100mtrs.
