Telangana State DOST is an online portal meant for all the Intermediate passed students in the state seeking admission to Degree Programmes in all the Six State Universities in the Telangana State. Degree Online Services, Telangana is known as a full form of DOST in the field of Collegiate Education, Government of Telangana. All the Undergraduate Programmes such as B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.Com. (Voc) / B.Com. (Hons.) / BSW / BBA / BBM / BCA and so forth offered by all the Government/Recognised Private Affiliated/Constituent Degree Colleges in the state functioning under the various state universities in Telangana State which include Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University and Satavahana University respectively for each of the Academic Years ever since 2016-17 are processed through DOST. The candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State or any equivalent recognized examination from other boards/states are eligible to apply for the U.G. Admission accordingly. The process involves the three main stages known as The Candidate Pre-Registration, Application Fee Payment and Candidate Login to exercise his/her Web Options and finalise the choice of the institution for admission. The process comprises of many a stage – Notification; Registrations and Web Options; Verification of Special Category Certificates; Seat Allotment First List; Reporting to Colleges by Students; Phase II Web Options only for Sliding; Seat Allotment Second List; Reporting to Colleges by Students; III and Last Phase Web Options and Registrations for students passed in Intermediate  Advanced Supplementary Examinations for Web Options and Registrations; Verification of Special Category Certificates; Seat Allotment Third List; Reporting to Colleges by Students and Commencement of Class Work of the First Semester.   DOST Guidelines for admission of the students into Undergraduate Courses in Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, Management, Computer Applications and Social work etc. including Honours, in all the faculties in University Constituent Colleges, University Autonomous Colleges, Government Colleges, Government Autonomous Colleges, Private Aided Colleges, Private Unaided Colleges, Private-Autonomous Colleges (Aided and Unaided) are notified on the official Website of the DOST portal. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education & State Project Director (RUSA), Telangana State, Hyderabad supervises the process to conduct the U.G. Online Admissions in the state. Each of the Degree Colleges consists of a DOST Coordinator and ID Colleges in the District Head Quarters offer Helpline Services to facilitate candidates seeking admission in U.G. Programmes accordingly. Finally, all the information can be witnessed on the TS DOST official website to perform the application and admission process for the students.
