COURSE MATERIAL

  • Students of all classes  have been provided with  prepared course material

EVALUATION:

              Identifying Poor standed students , and Fast learners through various methods of Questions, Slip tests, Quiz, Group Discussions, Classroom seminars etc

        After Identification of Poor learners, remedial coaching will be carried out

ICT integration (ppt / Ims / OHP) details

  • In addition to the regular teaching methods the faculty also uses paper clippings and Power Point presentations.

Student Study Projects

  • The department was completed 12 student study projects for the last 5 years on different themes.
  • COACHING    INITIATIVES

  • Special focus on coaching classes to the PG      Entrance.

 

  •  B.Ed. Entrance coaching and all competitive examinations.

 

STUDENTS    COUNCELLING

  • Exclusive counsellors  from the faculty are positioned to take up counselling to the allotted  classes.

  • The  department have been regularly conducting the following activities.

           *     Group discussions

Governance & Leadership

                Department  Faculty  actively  involved  in the college  Academic and   Administrative  committees.

BEST PRACTICES OF THE DEPATMENT

Every Week beginning college assembly was conducted, were as history faculty lead the program as a best practice of the department (were as the principal will preside the assembly

STRENGTH, WEAKNESS OPPORTUNITIES AND CONSTRAINTS

Strengths- Most Experienced (35years) faculty member

Weakness- Low Students Strength.

Opportunities- PG, Interdisciplinary Courses.

Constraints-   Insufficient Hostel facilities.

 

Future Plans

  • To strengthen the department it is proposed to apply for sanction of research Centre and supervisory ship.
