OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT
It inculcates social values and morals in the students. It enables the students to develop interest towards this language. It spread the greatness of Telugu language, culture, art and tradition as state festivals.
HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Government Degree College, Patancheru was established in the year 2008.In the same year the department of Telugu was established.
The first regular Asst.Professor in the department of Telugu was Dr.T.Patanjali. He worked in the Patancheru Government Degree College from 09.07.2012 to 30.05.2017. He organized many literature oriented and social event sessions.
In the academic year 2018-19, Dr.B.Lachaiah Asst.Professor of Telugu and Dr.G.SRINIVASA RAO Asst.Professor of Telugu joined in this college.
