HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

Government Degree College Gajwel was established in the year of 1997 to serve the needs of the local youth. The department of Telugu of this college was established on 26.08.1997 as second language is subject for graduate students of this college.  PG Telugu department established in the Year of 2015 -2016 academic year with 40 sanctioned intake. The first In-charge of department at the time of Inspection was Sri Dr. L.N Acharya, at present Sri A. Balaswamy Assistant Professor of Telugu is the Head of the department. In this department most of the teaching staff has been well experienced with academic excellence and higher qualifications.
