    •                 Department of Botany 

             The Department of Botany was established right from the inception of the College in the year 1991.The Department offered Under Graduate Courses in Botany (Life Sciences) in Telugu Medium following the Curriculum of the Osmania University, Hyderabad until 2010. From the academic Year 2010-2011 the Department followed the Curriculum of Palmuru University, Mahabubnagar for Under Graduate Courses in the Year Wise Scheme in Telugu Medium. Keeping in Pace with the latest Developments, the Department of Botany also adopted the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS ) of Education for Under Graduate Courses from the academic Year 2016-2017.  As the demand for English Medium arose, the department also started offering Under Graduate Courses in English Medium under Choice Based Credit System with Semester wise evaluation from the Academic Year 2018-2019. The Department of Botany also has well established Laboratories with latest Equipments to cater to the present day curriculum. At present thestudentstrengthoftheDepartmenthas 316.
