In the year 1985, the college established the Department of Physics with B.Sc.,(MPC) course at UG level. The department of Physics has been providing excellent Learning platform for B.Sc students to shine forth. The Physics department has 2 sanctioned posts.

Smt.B.Vanitha, Lecturer in Physics is the incharge of the Department of Physics.
She has joined as Lecturer in Physics at this college during 2015. She passed M.Sc. Physics from Osmania University Hyderabad during the year 2009, with specialization instrumentation. She has got 06 years of teaching experience at Degree College.
