ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Department of commerce was established in the year 2008 with B.Com (General) Course. The course curriculum has been followed according to the guidelines prescribed by the Kakatiya University as the college is affiliated to Kakatiya University. In 2016 B.Com (Computer Applications) Course was introduced, the Department has 02 ommerce and 01 Computer Applications posts sanctioned and working.

DEPARTMENT VISION:

To provide quality education in the field of Commerce with Computer Applications and transform the students into competent Commerce professionals enabling attainment of their goals.

DEPARTMENT MISSION:

· To impart in-depth knowledge in core commerce courses.

· To provide hands on experience in the application of commerce knowledge in computerized business environment.

OBJECTIVES:

. To provide in depth knowledge in Commerce and Computer Application courses

· To train and develop the students with the employable skills required for commerce and IT sectors.

· To train the students in the application of computers in various business

· To improve overall academic performance of students.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
