ICT FACILITIES

Government Degree College (Autonomous), Siddipet facilitates students in ICT based learning and encourages the staff members not only to upgrade their academic profile but also their pedagogical strategies by offering advanced and latest ICT facilities. The Administration and Examination Branch also utilizes ICT based management systems. 

LCD Projectors & PowerPoint Presentations – PPTs are regularly used by the staff members for making knowledge transfer and teaching sessions interactive as well as interesting with the aid of 20 LCD Projectors available in all the departments.

Wi-fi/Broad-band Connectivity: All the departments and student support wings are provided with Broad-band/Wi-Fi for the benefit of Students and Faculty. The internet connection of the college is connected with Lease Line from BSNL with 1 GBPS band width.

Digital Class Rooms: The College has 4 Digital Class Rooms, 3 for each individual streams, one each for Arts, Commerce and Science streams and the remaining in TSKC.

Virtual Class Room: The College has a virtual class room equipped with Digital smart board and 3600 camera aiming the staff to capture effective video lectures and e-content development. It helps the students improved access to advanced educational experiences by participating in remote learning communities like interacting/attending expertized lectures virtually from other colleges which includes the MOOCs classes.

College Administrative Office: is furnished with high configured systems with printers and xerox machines. The office is well connected with internet and Wi-Fi, and Biometric system to monitor the attendance of staff. It employs e-Office for Digital Office Correspondence and uses CAIMS (COLLEGE ADMINISTRATION INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)for Student Information, Student Certificate Management and College Accounts Management. Issue of TC, Bonafide certificates is done through student database using CAIMS.

Computer Labs: The College is equipped with 6 full-fledged computer labs basically for Computer Science students, which can also be utilized for imparting computer soft skills and few related certificate courses to students from other streams.

Controller of Examinations: COE is well equipped with Computers, Printers and Xerox machines and collaborates with database management clients for online exam fee collection, issue of online hall tickets&memos, and declaration of results online. Online entry of Internal and Practical marks is also implemented. 

Digital NCHRC: Digitally equipped N. Chandrareddy Memorial HRC is established with funding from Alumni, aimed at imparting coaching for PG/Net and Civils/State Groups Services not only for college students but also for the unemployed locals. 

TSKC LabIn order to impart good communication skills andemployability skills, the Telangana Skill Knowledge Centre (TSKC, earlier known as JKC) was established with the initiation from Commissioner of Collegiate Education (CCE),and later it was revamped to extend activities such as Spoken Tutorials, and Certificate Courses. It is equipped with 35 systems connected with internet and Wi-fi. 

E-Resources

  • Electronic Library is equipped with 22 computers, printer and an LCD Projector to facilitate the students in e-Leaning. And a xerox machine for taking photocopies of required material.
  • E-Learning (With INFLIBNET) – This is facilitated through e-library with subscription of open educational resources like INFLIBNET which helps students explore reading material available online from multiple resources all over the world. 
  • NList&NDLi :- Students are encouraged and guided to utilize the virtual repository of learning resources that are available in digital form and facilitate the learners to retrieve the right resource with least effort in minimum time. 

Helpline Centre for Online Admissions: Admissions into the college are based on State government run online admission process DOST (Degree Online Services Telangana). The College is identified as a HLC (Helpline Centre), which facilitates students in registration, exercise of their choices. This is done with dedicated student support counters equipped with computer, printer and xerox machines.  

MCR HRD regional centre: Dr. MCR HRD Institute is the premier administrative training institute of Government of Telangana with the objective to create and sustain a dedicated work force for Government. A regional centre was established recently in the college premises. Its digital infrastructure can be utilized by the faculty and students.
