About College

 Government Degree College ,Metpally was established in the year 2008 with Government of Andraoradesh G.O.M.S No 97 .During the academic year 2008-2009 students were joined in coueses like B.A(T/M),B.com(T/M),BSc M.P.C(T/m),BSc BZC(T/M) with strength sanctioned like 60 in B.A and B.Com,45 in BSc courses.Along with establishment 9 Teaching Posts were created and also 6 non Teaching Posts aloted . Primarly college classes used to be held at Government Junior College , later on it was shifted to Venkatarao Peta village near by Metpally town.In the year 2016 all the courses were upgraded into English Medium except B.A course.Other Teaching posts also sanctioned in the year 2018. and now 11 Teacher are working in the college. In the year 2016 Computer Courses also started groups like B.Com Computer applications and B.Sc M.P.C Computers.College function with 21 computers for students use and 3 computers for office use.Our college also consisting  of 1Virtual Class Room,2Projector and 1smart board. In this academic year 163 students are studying in our college.
