Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education was established since the very inception of college in 1956. There is 01 permanent Physical Director working in the department. The department is well equipped with Indoor and Outdoor facility for conducting all sports & games. There are two 10-stationed multi- gyms for men & women. The Physical Education Department has been acclaimed as the best in the Satavahana University jurisdiction. Every year 18 – 25 students represent Kakatiya University and Satavahana University in South Zone and All India University Tournaments, Telangana in Senior and Junior Nationals. Out of the 16 events organized by Satavahana University, the College teams emerge as either winners or runners in 10-12 events every years, the ultimate objective of the department is to develop Neuro-Muscular Co-ordination and Comprehensive personality development and sportsman spirit among the students. Every year the department organizes Inter Collegiate and Zonal Level Tournaments in 16 events. Summer and Winter Special Coaching Camps are organized in Football, Cricket, Basket Ball and Athletics.
