The institution is established in the year 1984 and henceforth catering to the educational aspirations of local rural youth. For years, it has produced highly competent scholars who had settled themselves in their coveted careers. The institution moved into its current permanent premises in the year 2005. Built in a picturesque, serene and a congenial atmosphere most conducive for teaching and learning process, the institution seems to be nurtured in the lap of the nature. The institution is fortunate to be situated by the NH 63 and yet  in a hamlet like setting where interaction with nature makes classes lively and rejuvenated. The institution can be very easily accessed and reached due to the TSRTC bus-stop right infront of the gate of the institution. 

The welfare and alround development of the students is the prime concern of the institution. Hence, all the activities like sports, games, singing, dancing, drama, projects, seminars, fieldtrips are taken up on par with the academic curriculum throught out the year. Also, many initiatives for making students self-reliant and self-employed are also taken up. Coaching for PG entrances, creating awareness on job opportunities are on one side and add-on courses like Basics of Computers, English Speaking Skills, Course on Photography, Event Management, Creating a nursery of plants, vermicompost making etc. are being taught.

The faculty interacts with the students in a very affectionate tone and advises them in all sorts of issues, addresses their problems to the most possible extent. The institution is completely ragging free and very inclusive in nature. Students enjoy celebrating not only all types of festivals together but also days of national and international importance.

The institution proudly boosts of the amazing achievements of its students of securing state ranks in entrance examinations, getting recruited to various public services and also serving public as public representatives.
