Dr.P.Bala Bhaskar
Dr.P.Bala Bhaskar , presently working as Principal, Babu Jagjivan Ram Govt. Degree College, Hyderabad. He was educated in osmania University, where he completed his M.Sc in Physics. He also did his M.Phil and PhD from the same University. He has over 26 years of work experience in different institutions. He taught Physics for U.G and P.G courses in Govt. Degree Colleges in MahaboobNagar, Gajwel Medak, Warangal. He also worked in Govt. Polytechnic college recruited through APPSC.
Dr.P.Bala Bhaskar worked as N.S.S coordinator, National Service Scheme Govt.Degree College Palem, Mahaboobnagar from 1993-1998.(5 yrs). He won Gold Medal awarded by Osmania University (1988) in M.sc Physics , (1987) Osmania University. Organised regular Social service camps, special camps in villages and served the cause of welfare of common man through activities such as adult literacy programme, health camps, surveys relating problems of the villagers in obtaining ration cards in villages, Survey conducted on dropouts of school children and also dropouts of adults in adult education centre for identifying the factors responsible for and suggested suitable remedial measures. The Govt of Andhra Pradesh initiated steps through SAPNET Mana TV to organize curricular programmes for Degree students in science.
Produced teaching –learning modules suitable to telecast all over the state and presented live programmes through Mana TV for 2 years (2004-2006).
Produced five scripts in physics for telecast as recorded programmes all over the state repeated year after the year for the benefit of students joining Degree courses in successive academic years.
Significant research contribution on “Interfacing the computer with analog to digital converter (A/D converter ) to record the voltage and current measurements of superconducting samples automatically without noting them manually” and this is a new approach and not attempted till then, which is a significant contribution , involving five years of active research as part of Ph.D programme(1989-94).
Undertook research activity as invited research scholar for one year relating to life time measurements of luminescent centers in crystalline solids at Baba Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai as part of Ph.D programme(1998-99) which is useful in estimating data storing capacity of X-ray imaging sensor material useful for effective operational aspects of medical applications. This is an innovative approach involving action research of practical nature.
