The Government Degree College Falaknuma was established in the year 2017-18 vide GO MS No. 4 Higher Education (E) Dept., Dated 13.02.2017) by the Government of Telangana to provide the higher educational opportunity for the weaker sections of the society. The College is located in the Falaknuma Government Junior College premises. The majority of the students who attend the college are predominantly Muslim minority and socially denied & deprived sections of the society.
