  The Government Degree College at Yellareddy is located in Kamareddy district of Telangana state and has been established in the year 2008 with combinations in three diffrent Under graduate courses i.e. B.A, B.Com. & B.Sc. It was the first Model degree college established in the district. new combinations in undergraduation courses has been sanctioned for this college, they are B.Com (ca) & B.Sc (M.P.Cs). However, Yellareddy is located in remote area and serves as a major location for large student community of surrounding villages. The establishment of Government Degree College at Yellareddy gave an opportunity to pursue higher education.

          Under RUSA, proposal of assistance has been made for sanction of funds and the same has been realised through sanction of funds. With the assistance of RUSA funds construction work for new college building along with hostel buildings.as per the information furnished by concerned civil engineers of TSMIDC.
